Comfort Porter

Comfort Camp was born in Washington in 1788 to Chauncey Camp. Her aunt was Sarah Ann Camp, who made a sampler in the Mattatuck Museum Collection. Comfort married Dr. Jesse Porter on June 6, 1808. Her children included Adelia Porter Law and Sally Ann Porter (Hotchkiss Sharp?).
