Marion Eleanor Maltby

Marion Landon was the daughter of Ellen J. Stone Smith Landon and William Lucas Landon. Her grandmother was Clarissa Stone, also represented in the Mattatuck Museum Collection by a sampler. Marion married Louis F. Maltby in 1886, who worked on carriages and later automobiles. They had two children, Merritt Elmer and George Leroy.
