Object A is a black fireman's hat with a glossy visor. The strap and cap of the hat are both black. The cap is taught, but sags slightly. The eyelets have minor tarnish. A Brass badge on the front states "Sharon Fire Department" and is made of brass.
Object B is the white dust cover that is stretched over the fireman's hat cap and parts of the frame. A part at the front of the dust cover has a single snap button to allow the brass badge to stick out and be surrounded by the dust cover.
Hat is used during ceremony and parades.
