This is  a scanned copy of "The Orderly Book of Phineas Porter" from July of 1776, which was transcribed and published by the Mattatuck Historical Society in 1928. This Orderly book contains the orders of General Washington, brigade orders, and other official business from the New York Headquarters of General George Washington.
