A women's white net cap, following fashionable hat shapes of the 1850s, with a round flat crown at the back of the head, upwardly tilted short brim, and skirt. The cap is sparsely embroidered with vague florals and dots, and the seams are emphasized with two bands of white braid. The bonnet is edged with bobbin lace all around. There are 14 " net ties, also embroidered. Hand sewn.
