White plate with feathered edge and gold trim. Picture in black of Emmanuel Church with Killingworth, Connecticut and dated 1805-1965. History on back reads: The Killingworth and North Bristol Episcopalian Societies united as the Union Society in 1800. The church building was started in 1805 and completed in 1820 at a cost of $2100. It was concecrated in 1817 by Right Reverend John Henry Hobart and was named Emmanuel Church in 1869. From 1875 priests in charge of the parish have been Rev. William C. Knowles (1874-1909), Rev. George B. Gilbert (1910-1948), Rev. Marcus J. Simpson (1950-1952) and Rev. Edward R. Merrill from 1953 to present. (present being 1965)
