Four-sided sherd; missing some glaze; green-rimmed/ridged edge; white glazed center. Possibly from a plate.

Either creamware or tin-glazed earthenware.

Part of a collection of artifacts dug from rear of Chaffee House. Donor found them while digging a garden when she resided there as a faculty member of the Loomis Chaffee School.

Abbott Cummings noted it as "earliest."
